Happy New Year to all!
Hard to believe we are already the first week into 2012!
The past few months have been a whirlwind. Early fall I had my first photo shoot with Lindsey Wylie, which was a blast to say the least! I have been finishing the last few details for my coronation February 25th; a few more auction items to round-up and we will be ready to have a night of good food, music and company. Looking forward to seeing many of you there and getting to know some new faces! December finished off with a trip up to Vernonia. Sound vaguely familiar? It’s the little town where former 2009 Miss NPRA Mackenzie Carr is from. She has been chosen to represent the rodeo world as 2012 Miss Rodeo America. A small reception was held to welcome her home and hear stories from the Miss Rodeo America Pageant.
January looks to be a busy month, starting off with the Columbia County Fair and Rodeo coronation. From there it’s a few trips over the, hopefully not too snowy pass, for other court coronations and rodeo meetings.
Wishing you a prosperous new year!
Emily
